Paddleboard Sunday

Today I took my board out to unwind and get in a good workout. I love doing fun things for a workout and am not a huge fan of basic exercising. My exercise regime includes stand up paddleboarding (of course), yoga, running & I have a few dance workout dvds that I attempt in the privacy of my own home. Not the type of thing you wanna see in public trust me.

On The Rocks

Here is the new haircut! I have to say going from long to short hair was a little scary, but no regrets yet. In fact, I don't miss my old go-to bun or the lengthy blow drying sessions at all. This haircut has also made me a little hat crazy. So prepare yourselves for all kinds of hats this Spring;) hehe

Sweet Treats

I have a sweet tooth that seriously interferes with my desire to eat healthy! But seriously who can deny cupcakes? Especially the yummy cupcakes at Buttercream Cupcakes in Coral Gables, FL. The shop had a very girly feel, pink being used as the main color. The staff were attentive and very helpful in choosing flavors. We tried their strawberry cupcake made with fresh strawberries and their red velvet cupcake. Both were super yummy, but they are on the heavy side so it was nearly impossible to finish one alone "nearly";). We also got a few to go so I am excited to try their other flavors and to be on a sugar high all week!

This weekend we took a little break from Miami and drove up to Orlando. It's only a four hour drive but the differences are vast. Orlando has a very chill environment and we always get season passes to one of the theme parks here (we are big kids- haha). Last year we got passes to Disney and this year we got them for Universal & Islands of Adventure.

Around the Area

We went out for a walk in our neighborhood and just had a casual day. It was one of those days where you just throw on whatever and go. I always feel most comfortable in my Converse sneakers and I know I seriously wear them too much, but I mean I haven't found many things that they don't look cute with- lol. So I will continue to wear these bad boys:)

From The 20's With Love

This was shot at the Catalina Hotel in South Beach. It was such a crazy day for me because I had two shoots. The style concept for the shoot was the 20's, which is a very important decade for fashion. The first half of the 20's was very reluctant to the new relaxed fashions that were emerging. Women wearing pants and shorts for the first time, and men starting to more casual attire. The second half was known as "the Roaring Twenties", in which the public embraced the trends and all cautions were thrown to the wind.

Beach Bum

The beach is, with out a doubt one of my favorite places to go. It's so relaxing and beautiful and it always gives me some sense of renewal.
